QUADMARTS WORKSHOP 2026

The QUADMARTS 2026 Workshop is a 2½-day meeting to foster discussion on innovative techniques for the study of reactive species in the gas phase relevant to Earth atmospheric chemistry, Solar System and exoplanet atmospheres, combustion, and the interstellar medium. Sessions will include invited and contributed speakers, and poster sessions. There will be a special Young Investigators Session. The workshop will be held on the Caltech Campus at the Keck Center, an run from the morning of Monday, November 9th through the afternoon of Wednesday, November 11th.

Quadmarts is an International Research Network supported by the Centre National de Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), University of Rennes, and the network Member Partners. The Workshop is co-sponsored by the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, and the California Institute of Technology.

SPECIAL SESSION IN MEMORY OF STANLEY P. SANDER (JPL)

We will hold a special session for Stan Sander, Senior Scientist at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, who passed away in February, 2025. Stan was a leader in the field of atmospheric chemistry, planetary chemistry, and chemical kinetics. His work spanned laboratory,  gas phase radical chemistry, Earth and planetary atmospheres, observational field work, and climate science. He was an intellectual leader in these fields, including his critical decades-long contribution as head of the NASA Data Evaluation Panel. He coupled his keen insights with an empathy, generosity, and kindness that made him a much respected and much loved figure in our community.
