QUADMARTS Network Workshop
Caltech, Nov. 12-13, 2018
Contributed Talks Solicited
We invite you to contribute talks to one of the four experimental topics listed below. Two contributed talks will be chosen for each topic. Please indicate when you register that you are interested in a contributed talk, and provide a title and short abstract.
About
We invite you and/or your group members to attend the kick-off workshop of the QUADMARTS (Quantitative Detection of Molecular and Radical Trace Species Produced by Chemical Reactions and Photodissociation Processes) International Research Network. This meeting will be held on Monday Nov 12-Tuesday Nov 13 at the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA USA.
Workshop Goals
The goal of the workshop is to discuss advances in experimental and theoretical techniques for the detection of transient intermediates and reactive species. We hope to generate new ideas and foster interactions and collaborations among the attendees. The meeting will include plenary talks, posters and breakout sessions. We envision that workshop participants will discuss advances in experimental and theoretical techniques, including:
Topic 1 : photo-ionization and mass spectrometric methods
Topic 2 : New laser and cavity spectroscopy methods
Topic 3 : Chirped Pulse Microwave spectroscopy
Topic 4 : Frequency Combs
Topic 5 : Theoretical methods
Schedule
Sunday Nov 11. Late afternoon/evening. Registration and Reception.
